ScanAppTrans: AI Delivery-Slip Archive & Multi-Tab Excel Exporter
A document-extraction web app that turns batches of photographed transport delivery slips ('bons de livraison') into verified records and exports accountant-ready multi-tab Excel files.
Laravel 12PostgreSQLGemini VisionExcel

Context
Logistics back-offices spend hours re-typing stamped, handwritten paper delivery notes into monthly Excel sheets. They don't want to abandon the Excel format their external accountants require — they just want to stop typing paper slips by hand.
Scope I disclose publicly
- Batch upload and Gemini Vision extraction pipeline tuned for French and Arabic transport delivery slips, stamps, and handwritten quantities.
- Side-by-side verification UI displaying the original scan next to extracted fields so operators can approve or edit in seconds.
- Multi-tab Excel exporter powered by PhpSpreadsheet that groups verified slips into clean sheets by client, truck, or billing period.
Decisions and trade-offs
- Keeping multi-tab Excel as the primary output artifact so the tool fits straight into existing accounting handoffs with zero friction.
- Surfacing side-by-side human review before export rather than trusting raw OCR on crumpled, stamped paper.
- The trade-off: illegible handwriting still requires manual correction in the review pane, so keyboard navigation had to be fast.
A live deployment is running at mbardouni.dev/scanapptrans/.
