Context

Arabic early-childhood digital tools are often cluttered with ads or built as static video playlists. Pre-readers need large touch targets, audio guidance, and immediate positive feedback.

Scope I disclose publicly

  • Interactive Arabic learning modules covering letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and daily habits with audio prompts.
  • Touch-first, high-contrast RTL interface usable by 3-to-6-year-olds without reading menus.
  • Parent dashboard summarizing completed activities and learning milestones.

Decisions and trade-offs

  • Designing navigation around voice cues and large visual icons rather than text-heavy menus.
  • Using lightweight SVG and CSS animations instead of heavy video assets so the app stays responsive on budget family tablets.
  • The trade-off: browser speech synthesis varies across devices, so audio cues must degrade gracefully when a specific Arabic voice is absent.
